Eagle County Airport (EGE) gets new winter flight to Philadelphia (PHL).

The new, Saturday-only service from Philadelphia to Eagle County will run from Dec. 21, 2019 through Jan 4, 2020 and again from Feb. 15, 2020 through Apr 4, 2020.

The flight will depart Pennsylvania at 8:20 a.m and arrive in Eagle at 11:05 a.m. The return flight departs Colorado at 2:05 p.m. and arrives in Philadelphia at 8 p.m.

Vail Whitewater Race Series May 7 – June 4, 2019

The first of a five-race series in Gore Creek in Vail started on Tuesday of this week at 5:15pm and this marks the seventh years the series has been underway. The races are open to kayaks (under 9 feet, 6 inches), two-person raft teams and stand-up paddleboarders. The finish is at the International Bridge and festivities will be in full effect.

The series continues every Tuesday night through June 4. As the series wraps ups, The Town of Eagle will host and inaugural series at its new whitewater park beginning June 11.
