The number of real estate sales in Lionshead over the month of April were the lowest in over a year with only 2 sales totaling $1,692,000, just 1.7% of Eagle County's total dollar volume this month.

An incredible deal was had by the buyer of a 1,835 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath at Arrabelle that sold for $1,040,000.

Lionshead's other real estate sale was a 857 sq ft 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in the Lionshead Arcade, which is better known as the home of Garfinkle's.

Not an exciting month for real estate in Lionshead. With Lionshead's prices holding strong earlier this year, this may encourage Lionshead's real sellers to become more realistic.

Vail Valley Real estate transactions are on the upswing with year-to-date transactions in Eagle County at 407, the highest since 2008. 2 of the 106 sales in April were in Lionshead and those 2 sales represented 2% of the total dollar volume. The largest portion of dollar volume was in Bachelor Gulch, which represented 26% of sales.
