Last week I gave on the order $1,500 to several different local non-profit groups in Eagle County. This is a part of my gifting program where I pledge to give back 5% of my earnings to a local charity of my real estate Buyer or Seller's choice. This could benefit a cause with which you are passionate……

The recipients for this last round of giving were the Round-Up River Ranch, Vail Valley Foundation, Ski and Snowboard Club Vail, and Habitat For Humanity. They all received money as a result of recent real estate closings I completed in the Vail Valley.

I understand the need for help–I moved to Vail in 1974 and I've been involved wtih several nonprofit organizations through the years.

Our annual ski swap benifitting the Ski and Snowboard Club Vail continues today. At 1pm admission will be free. I am excited, but even more, I'm excited because historically if we get a foot of snow on or before the Ski Swap or Halloween then we are in for a wonderful year of snow…..And we got a foot of perfect early season snow just this week.

Between Arrabelle at Vail Square and the Ritz Carlton Residences, Lionshead has managed to retain it's property value and hold strong.  Two sales at the Ritz Carlton Residences of Vail in Lionshead during September carried Lionshead's real estate sales figures for month.
