Beaver Creek will be the center of the skiing action in 2105 as it welcomes back the world’s best ski racers Feb 2-12 for the Alpine World Championships.

The event features men’s and women’s individual races as well and team events on the Birds of Prey and the new “Raptor” racecourses. In preparation for the event, Red Tail has been renovated and expanded in anticipation of the crowds of ski-racing enthusiasts to enhance their spectating experience. Real Estate Market Report Jan '14

Vail real estate has always been a strong piece of the Vail economy, and this year it is showing to be just that. According to the most recent figures from Land Title Guarantee Co., the 107 completed transactions in January had a total value of $103.1 million, a 69% increase from January of 2013. Ten sales were over $2 million, a great jump in the higher-end properties which have been slower in the past years.
