On December 23, Starwood Luxury brand added the Cascade Hotel to it’s collection. Unknown to many, Starwood is owned now by Marriott Hotel Group.

With the over 99 inches recorded snowfall in Vail Valley this ski season, it is difficult to tear yourself away from the ski slopes or looking at ski in/out real estate. But last week, I met a good friend at her Cordillera residence and we enjoyed an invigorating snow shoe around a track on the Hale Irwin designed Ranch at Cordillera Golf Club. This snow shoe reminded me why Cordillera is such a wonderful community to live in and enjoy daily!  The Cordillera market has gotten hot the last few weeks, and why wouldn’t it? With stunning Gore Range and Sawatch Range views, amenities galore, handsome, western-style homes ranging from log cabins to Legacy estates, this incredible community is still a true value, especially in relation to the rest of the Vail Valley!
