Betty Guffey graduated from Southern Methodist University and worked for 9 years in psychiatric hospitals. After moving from Texas to Colorado in 1970, she started an interior design company. She became a Realtor in 1976. All of the careers fulfilled Betty's desire to help others.
Before she moved to Vail she served as Board Chair of Children's Legal Clinic in Denver. It is now known as Rocky Mountain Children's Legal Center and advocates for over a thousand children a year. She was on the board for 23 years.
Betty was the Top Producer for Denver's Grubb and Ellis for two years. She is most proud of selling homes to 3 generations of one family in 6 different Colorado cities and the repeat business of other clients.
She hopes to see old and new friends at her new home , Gateway, in the Sitzmark in beautiful Vail Village.
