Fourth of July Fireworks cancelled in Vail and Avon!

The towns of Vail and Avon have cancelled the fireworks for the Fourth of July due to the extreme fire danger.  It will still be a fun Fourth of July with parades and concerts.  In Avon, the July Salute to the USA celebration at Nottingham Park will begin at 5:00 pm on July 3rd. The event will feature music from DJ Ramona, Bonfire Dub and the March Forth Marching Band.  There will be a variety of food vendors, a beer tent and a family fun area.  Vail will have it’s Fourth of July parade on July 4th, which begins at 10 am from Golden Peak, through Vail Village and ending in Lionshead around noon.  It’s great fun for both the kids and adults!  The Bravo Vail Valley Music Festival patriotic concert at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater will be that afternoon.  Hope every one has a safe and Happy Fourth of July!
