Yesterday we had the pleasure of shooting a video with a local producer and talent, Bart Garton, at the Liftside at Lionshead, which is located right outside of Vail Village. Coming into the shoot, I was familiar with the the unit, Penthouse C52–a sunny 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, 2,932sqft condominium. The unit is one of my favorites because of a myriad of reasons: the many decks provide the perfect views across the year-round rushing Gore Creek; the vaulted ceilings highlight the South-facing, soaring windows; the open, livable floorplan still manages to maintain privacy for guests; and the private master level features. What I wasn’t quite familiar with was the endless amenities that LIftside offered until I was able to experience them firsthand when shooting the video. The best kept secret–and most impressive–feature of Liftside is the ease at which you can avoid long, aggrevating lines of the Vista Bahn and other chairs by walking right outside your door to ___ lift. The lines are hardly even existent and 2 rides later you are dropped off right at the top of Eagle’s Nest. Returning home is equally as easy as hopping off the lift and right to your own hot tub and pool at the base of the mountain while enjoying spectacular views. Equally as convenient is the roomy ski locker which features a fireplace, coffee machine, ample lockers, and a boot rack and heaters. Nearby, enjoy a large recreation room where the kids can entertainment themselves with XBox, pool, ping pong, and board games.
Another feature that was extremely impressive was the incredible amount of storage that the building provides. Each unit is alotted a ______ space with enough room to store several bycicles, furniture, anything your heart can desire. And an aspect that most people don’t realize is that you dont have to pay taxes on this extra square footage as you would if it were located in the unit.
Lastly, I was incredibly impressed by the amount of precise care that the manager takes care of the building. He is there daily, attends to every issue with precise attention and care, and therefore the building maintains an impressive level of securty and privacy unlike any other building in Vail.
While shooting the video, we had a lot of fun experiencing all that Liftside has to offer and it went above and beyond my expectations. I encourage you to visit Liftside and experience the true meaning of “pamper” while getting what you deserve for your money,
