The 10th, Vail Newest Mountain Restaurant is open for business!

The newest Vail Mountain restaurant is called the 10th and it is located at the base of Look Ma run at Mid-Vail. The restaurant honors the veterans of the 10th Mountain Division who trained at nearby Camp Hale.

The restaurant is modern and elegant, yet cozy and inviting with the backdrop of the Gore Range which can be seen from the floor to ceiling windows. The cuisine is “modern alpine”. On the appetizer menu there are items such as carmaelized onion soup with brie, spicy lamb chili and wood roasted mussels. Brick oven pizzas are on the menu or if you prefer; salads or “green plates” which include traditional cobb or caesar or a port-poached pear with butter lettuce and blue cheese. Sandwiches include Angus burgers or a grilled sharp cheddar on housemade Brioche with tomato soup,. Entrees get fancier with items such as veal meatloaf.
