The Vail Farmer’s Market will be wrapping up October 6th this season. Open Sundays, from 9:30am to 3:30pm, the market boasts live music, over 148 tents, 40 being food vendors, you don’t want to miss out on stocking up on goodies from your favorite vendors. Bjorn’s Colorado Honey is a small-batch, local honey producer based in Boulder, Colorado. KALEBS KATCH | FRESH SEAFOOD
Do not miss Kaleb’s Katch for the most amazing seafood. The sustainable, wild-caught salmon is the best you will find in the valley. Kaleb’s story is fascinating, in addition to being a hunting guide, he is a Commercial fisherman on the “Sound and Fury” for Captain Robert Lebovic in Bristol Bay Alaska. Bristol Bay spawning season starts in June and ends in August, Drift Net Fishing is done from a 32’ foot boat with a 200 yard 15 foot deep net. All the salmon are hand picked from the net and held in slush ice. The Salmon are then delivered to a tender boat minimally processed and flash frozen, ensuring the freshest product possible.
