Vail Mountain reported 4″ of new snow overnight, 8″ in the past 48 hours, and 2 FEET of snow over the past week! The skiing conditions are vastly improved from the dry spell earlier this season. All lifts are operating and 98% of the runs are open. The weather service is predicting chances of snow periodically over the next 10 days. Winter is here and we’re loving it!
Beaver Creek is reporting 3″ of new snow, 6″ in the past 48 hours and 18″ of snow over the past week. All lifts are running with 97% of the runs open.
Skiers and snowboarders are enjoying Colorado blue skies and fresh snow. After waiting for the weather to cooperate, it appears our usual patterns are back and snowfall is in the forecast. And just in time for the Presidents’ Week Holiday.
