Miranda’s roots run deep as a fourth-generation native to the Vail Valley. Much of her youth was spent outside skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, camping, and exploring the nooks and crannies of the valley while she attended Vail Mountain School. She headed out West to California to Santa Clara University for her undergraduate degree and then to University of California, Santa Barbara for her Master’s degree. She explored far and wide both in the US and internationally before realizing that there truly is no place like home right here in Eagle County.
